Diagram showing my workflow for producing videos from start to finish
A draft can be as simple as a bulleted shot-list to a framed storyboard containing descriptions and shooting angles.

Here you have a chance to comment on the shots to be made, with the ability to add, remove and modify them.
Rough cuts are a quickly edited cut of the final film for reviewing by stakeholders.

Placeholder text and graphics are used which can be quickly added and modified according to feedback.
Review cuts contain finished infographics, plus intros and outros.

Existing shots are tidied up and music is added creating a review copy that contains the production quality of the final product.

Trello
Trello is a visual project management tool I use to show production progress from storyboarding, to shooting, editing and review.

The card for each video moves left to right between the columns as it is completed, with the ability to discuss its progress along the way.
Vimeo
Vimeo is a video hosting website that allows viewers to pause videos during playback and add comments.

I find this is great way for making quick actionable comments, that can also be marked “resolved” when complete.
